Our PE days are Monday and Wednesday!
Make sure you come to school dressed in your PE kit on this day every week.
Please check classroom posters for what PE has to be.
Autumn Term PE will consist of:
Real PE
- Static balances - seated balances.
- Dynamic balances - jumping and landing.
Real Gym
- Flight - exploring jumps and leaps.
- Rotation - exploring rolls and spins
Spring term PE will consist of:
Real PE
- Static balances - stance
- Dynamic balances - on a line
- Coordination
- Ball skills
- Counter balance with a partner
- Team games- simple defending and attacking tactics
Dance PE
- Shape theme
Summer term PE will consist of:
Real PE
- Static balances - floor work
- Coordination - sending and receiving
- agility - ball chasing
- Counter balance with a partner
Athletics
- Sports day activities, running races, obstacle courses, throwing activities …
Games
Focus on team games and developing simple tactics for attacking and defending.
PE kit
- Plain black joggers, tracksuit bottoms or leggings
- A plain white t-shirt or polo shirt.
- Blue school jumper.
- A pair of trainers (not plimsols)
- No jewellery of any kind should be worn on a PE day for safety reasons.
- A coat should be worn in cool and wet weather.
