The following key dates will help you with applying for a full time school place for admission in 2021/22.
7 September 2020 – Application process opens online
You will be able to apply for your child’s full time place for entry in 2021/22 from 12:01am on Monday 7 September 2020.
27 January 2021 – Extended closing date
Deadline for applications is now midnight on 27 January 2021. This has been extended from 15 January 2021 as a result of the current lockdown. Missing the deadline will significantly reduce your chances of getting a place at the school you want.
16 April 2021 – National offer day
Offers of school places are sent out for all on-time applications. If you applied online, we will send you an email with your application outcome. Letters will also be sent by second class post.
10 May 2021 - Late applications considered (round 1)
Late applications received between 28 January 2021 and 16 April 2021, will be considered after this date.
14 May 2021 – Deadline to submit an appeal
Deadline to submit an appeal to ensure it is heard in the first round of appeals.
7 June 2021 – Late applications considered (round 2)
Late applications received after 16 April 2021 will be considered after this date.
From 30 August 2021 - Your child starts school
If your child was not offered a place in your first preference school, they will remain on waiting lists for any higher preference schools until at least July 2022.
